ABOUT ME
Jacob is a recovery coach who helps clients build a sense of confidence and safety in their bodies and lives, and guides them as they bring that safety into the activities, situations, and sensations they most fear.
He uses Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Permission to Move, cognitive behavioral work, and several creative, somatic, and spiritual practices—as well as his decade of experience recovering from dozens of major symptoms—to support people in finding their own way forward, and he loves to hear that clients no longer need his help.
He is a practitioner with two LA-based pain recovery companies, Healing Track and the Pain Psychology Center, and he is trained in Pain Reprocessing Therapy. He also has a background in disability studies, Alexander and Feldenkrais techniques, and in voice and movement performance work.
He lives in Clermont, NY, with his wife, his 6-year-old daughter, and a varying number of chickens, and he loves roaming local waterways in his kayak.
